Your first year is hard enough without buying a classroom out of your first paycheck. Tell us what you want your room to be, and the Olathe Teacher Fund covers it.
One thing, done well
The fund does exactly one thing right now: it sets up classrooms for teachers in their first year. No supply reimbursements, no grant categories to pick from — just your room, ready before your students walk in.

Tell us the look you want and the supply list that goes with it. It is your classroom, so every call is yours.

We buy the supplies
The Olathe Teacher Fund purchases the list outright. Nothing comes out of your first-year paycheck.

Volunteers help you set up
We bring in community volunteers and students to help you put the room together before day one.
How many first-year classrooms we can set up depends on gifts to the Olathe Teacher Fund. Full room setups begin with the 2027 school year, before students arrive. If we raise enough sooner, we will put money directly in first-year teachers' hands for second semester 2026 — your room is already set up by mid-year, so funds you can spend on what it still needs help more than a redesign would.
